The Orrville woman arrested Sunday night for allegedly killing her live-in boyfriend has been released from jail.  44-year old Catherine Tulley, who reportedly shot 53-year old Douglas Brigham during a physical altercation, was set free yesterday afternoon after the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office was unable to determine what, if any, criminal charges should be filed against her.  The law states that criminal charges have to be filed within 48 hours of a person’s arrest for them to be kept in jail.  The prosecutor’s office says Tulley is not considered a danger to the public or a flight risk, and that charges can always be filed at a later date.  The shooting remains under investigation.
