Orrville’s new mayor delivered his first State of the City address at this week’s council meeting. In addition to thanking Orrville’s previous mayors and other various city leaders for all of their hard work, Matt Plybon highlighted a number of positive developments in 2023, including a reduced response time for the city’s fire department, notable growth in income tax revenue and the opening of the city’s skate park. Plybon also talked about several of Orrville’s newly opened businesses, as well as job opportunities within the city.
