The Schantz Organ Company, in Orrville, will be celebrating its 150th anniversary this weekend. To mark the milestone, the family-owned business will be holding a free event this Saturday from 10am-1pm at Sonnenberg Village, in Kidron. Since its founding in 1873, the company has worked on pipe and reed organs from all over the world. According to the company, the oldest of its pipe organs still in operation was built back in 1904 for a church in Tiffin.
