Pair arrested in Holmes County for high-speed chase

Two people were arrested this week in Holmes County following a high-speed chase.  The chase started Wednesday afternoon, at around two o’clock, when deputies received a call about a domestic dispute in a vehicle headed toward Killbuck.  Deputies spotted and attempted to stop the vehicle in the village, but it sped off into Millersburg where it again eluded officers.  The suspects, a 24-year old man and a 31-year old woman, were eventually taken into custody about an hour and a half later when they were found hiding in a creek bed in Benton.  According to authorities, both had been wanted on outstanding warrants.
