The Wayne County Community Foundation’s executive director is stepping down from the position after nearly eight years on the job. Sara Patton made the announcement last night at the foundation’s annual dinner. Patton will be replaced by Orrville native Melanie Garcia, a former corporate training account executive at the Ohio State University’s Wooster campus. Garcia will begin working alongside Patton next month, before taking over as the foundation’s executive director in January.
