Authorities are investigating an incident in which a pedestrian was killed early Saturday morning in Summit County’s Springfield Township. The incident happened around 12:15 AM on South Arlington Road just north of East Warner Road. The State Highway Patrol says that a car heading northbound on South Arlington apparently struck a 46-year-old Canton man who was walking along the edge of the roadway. The pedestrian was pronounced at the scene. No charges have been filed at this time.
