The Indians were six outs from ending the leagues longest streak without a no-hitter, but still came away with a 4-2 win over the Mariners.

Zach Plesac was masterful, as he carried a no-hitter through seven innings before it was broken up in the eighth inning. He  gave up a leadoff single in the eighth and then a home run.  Plesac worked eight innings, giving up two runs on two hits, with three walks and two strikeouts. Jose Rameriez had a two run homerand Franmil Reyes a solo shot for the Indians.

Len Barkers perfect hitter on May 15th, 1981 remains the last time the Indians had a pitcher throw a no-hitter.

The Indians continue their series with the Mariners on Friday with a 10:10 start.
