Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg is receiving a trio of national awards for its treatment of heart attacks and strokes, as well as the treatment of its employees. The American Heart Association awarded the facility its Lifeline EMS Gold Achievement for heart attack treatment and it’s SilverPlus Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Quality Achievement Award for stroke treatment. Additionally, the facility received the NorthCoast 99 Award for the 16th time and is being recognized as one of 99 great Northeast Ohio workplaces.
