Cloverleaf High School had to be evacuated yesterday morning after a power surge caused the building to fill up with smoke.  After evacuating staff members, firefighters let the building air out for about an hour before allowing anyone to go back inside.  The district says the power surge caused one of the building’s outdoor air units to overheat, which led to the smoke.  Fortunately, there was no damage to report and the disruption to students was minimal, as the entire district is currently learning online.
