A program that honors veterans will be returning to the Wayne County Fair next month for the third straight year. The HOPS program, which stands for Honoring Our Patriots’ Service, will return to the fair on Wednesday, September 11th, at the fairgrounds’ event center. The program will feature handmade quilts being presented to 100 area veterans. The HOPS program was founded in 2021 by the Tree City Quilters’ Guild of Wooster.
