In Holmes County, a tree fell on a 500-gallon propane tank early yesterday morning, causing a propane leak in Glenmont. Fire officials, who were called out to the scene at around 1:45am, went door to door evacuating 17 residents. Once the tank was removed from the residential area, fire fighters checked the evacuated basements, but found no trace of propane in any of the homes. They also flushed nearby sewer drains with water before allowing residents to return to their homes. The scene was cleared by 6am.
