Ashland Railway will add new track and replace defective rails courtesy of a new grant.  The $735,000 grant comes from the Ohio  Rail Development Commission and will allow the company to expand its Mansfield yard and identify needed repairs along the line that runs through Ashland County.  The project’s total cost is $1.47 million.  Improvements hope to be made in the next year.
