The Ashland Soil and Water Conservation District has come up with a way to showcase local artists and hopefully raise some money for future educational events. The conservation district’s Rain Beat on Main Street project had artists colorfully paint ten rain barrels, which will soon be displayed in both Loudonville and Ashland, and then eventually auctioned off online. The barrels will be on display at Loudonville’s Central Park, beginning this Thursday through August 11th, and then at Ashland’s Corner Park from August 13th through the 25th.
