The College of Wooster will formally dedicate Steve Moore Court at Timken Gymnasium following the Fighting Scots’ men’s basketball game against DePauw University on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024. Tipoff against DePauw is set for 3:15 p.m. and follows Wooster’s 1 p.m. women’s basketball game against Denison University.

Those planning to attend the Steve Moore Court dedication are kindly asked to register at https://events.woosteralumni.org/e/dedication-of-steve-moore-court/ to aid with planning for the post-dedication reception, which will take place in the Scot Center. There is no cost to attend the reception. Tickets for the games can be purchased at the ticket booth and are $8 for adults and $7 for senior citizens and youth. One ticket is good for both the women’s and men’s basketball game. The games and court dedication will be streamed at https://northcoastnetwork.com/wooster.

The naming of the court in honor of the Wooster men’s basketball coaching legend was made possible by the generous and loyal support of alumni, parents, friends, and fans of the program. Wooster announced the court naming as part of the release on the establishment of the Steve Moore Endowment on Aug. 15. Steve Moore Court is already inscribed on the court due to it being refinished this summer. At that time, the artwork on the court was updated to incorporate the College’s new branding elements.
