Reported shooting in Rittman

Police in Rittman are investigating a reported shooting this week.  A 68-year-old man told police that he shot at an intruder Wednesday morning.  The man said the intruder was his 28-year-old estranged stepson.  Police have not been able to locate the suspect, who ran from the scene.   Investigators did find a bullet in the floor of the home’s attached garage, and recovered a revolver from inside the house but did not know if the man was struck.
