Reverse COVID notification system being paused in Wayne County

Wayne County is ceasing the reverse COVID notification system after a few errors in the system sent out wrong messages. The system, which is run by the Wayne County Emergency Management Agency, had issues once it was launched, including sending out wrong messages about COVID vaccination clinics to everyone in the county who had registered for a vaccine, even though the message was intended for a small group.
