The city of Rittman continues to move forward with the development of a new nature preserve.  The city is reportedly in the process of transforming the former Rittman Paper property into a 200-acre preserve.  The land features numerous ponds, wooded areas and wildlife, and plans are already underway to create more than 7 miles worth of hiking trails.  Mayor William Robertson spoke about the preserve and the work being done there at the Rittman Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet last week.
