With temps Thursday evening and Through Friday expected to be in the single digits to upper teens, the Severe Weather Shelter at the Salvation Army will be open both nights. The shelter will open on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. and remain open until 8 am Friday, reopening at 6:30 pm Friday. The shelter will be open to anyone needing to get out of the frigid temps, and will provide a warm place to sleep, a hot meal and warm shower. Those that go to the shelter are being asked to use the Family Life Center door that faces Ohio Street.
