The Sheetz company is once again attempting to build a gas station and convenience store on seven acres near the Interstate 71 interchange with state Route 3 in Medina Township. The company needs to have the zoning changed to make that happen and evidently there is some strong support from area residents who don’t like that idea. Medina Township’s Zoning Commission has scheduled a public hearing for Monday June 21st. Regardless of the zoning commission’s decision, the township trustees have the final say in the matter.
