In Ashland County, the Highway Patrol is investigating a crash involving a pickup truck and an Amish buggy. It happened yesterday afternoon, at around 4:30pm, on County Road 500. The patrol says the pickup, driven by a 20-year old Nova man, rear-ended the buggy just after it went over a hill. Six children on the buggy were hospitalized, although none of their injuries are said to be life threatening. The driver of the truck was unhurt, while the horse pulling the buggy had to be euthanized.
