The Ashland County Dog Warden and the Humane Society have rescued six dogs from an Ashland home, raising the total number of dogs rescued from the home to 52. The woman, who lives on Main Street, has voluntarily surrendered all of the dogs who were malnourished from poor conditions. The woman has not faced any criminal charges at this time for the condition of dogs, but does face two pending lawsuits from the city involving accumulating trash outside the home and for an unsafe structure on the property.
