A Smithville man is facing charges after threatening to blow up the Chase Bank in Wooster Monday. According to authorities, 37 year-old Larry Munday went into the bank on N Walnut on Monday and demanded that the tellers do what he said or they would die. Monday also told people inside the bank that if they tried to leave he would blow up the bank. Bank employees eventually overpowered Munday and held him for police to come in and arrest him. The arrest was Munday’s second in two days, as he was also arrested Sunday for an incident at a local gas station. Munday is facing a third degree felony kidnapping charge for the bank arrest, and multiple charges for the arrest at the gas station.
