Roughy 100 employees and supporters stood outside of the J.M. Smucker Company’s Orrville headquarters on Thursday to protest the company’s recent vaccination notice, which stated that 2,600 salaried employees in the U.S. are required to be vaccinated no later than Dec. 15.  An official statement from Smucker’s says that it is not currently a condition of employment for hourly manufacturing & distribution employees, but the company does expect all U.S. employees to be vaccinated against COVID.  The company’s statement went on to say that there will be a monetary incentive for those who comply by Dec. 1.
