A Vietnam Veteran was laid to rest at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Thursday with an outpouring of public support. 72-year old U.S. Air force veteran William Louis Wright, of Youngstown, passed away in October and had no immediate family.  That put the Triple Nickel to work asking for the public’s support for the vet. A Facebook post on WQKT’s Facebook page made sure the veteran was laid to rest with plenty of support. The post reached over 185,000 people, and was shared over 3,000 times. The funeral service, which was slated to begin at 9 a.m., had to be pushed back as several hundred people were estimated to have shown up at Wright’s service.
