The Southeast Local School Districts Board of Education will have a big discussion at its upcoming meeting, what kind of new school building to build with increased revenue from the Rover pipeline? There are three building options on the table, a Pre-K through 6th grade option, which would cost over $29 million, a Pre-K through 8th grade building, at a cost of over $38 million, or a Pre-K through 12th grade option, with a cost of over $50 million. The good news for residents is that because of the revenue from the pipeline, there would not be a need to increase taxes to pay for the building. Each plan also comes with plans for what to do with the existing buildings that are being used around the district.
