State Representative Scott Wiggam, of Wooster, has been chosen to serve on a committee that will help finalize a new piece of state legislation. The former Wayne County Commissioner will serve on the committee with two other state representatives, along with several state senators. The committee’s goal is to find a compromise on Senate Bill 1, which would allow for legislative oversight on future orders issued by the state’s health director. Ohio house members passed the bill on May 7th, but the state senate rejected it two weeks later.
