Chippewa Local Schools is proud of our 2 teams who earned spots in the OHSAA Division 3 State Tournaments. Chippewa Girls’ Basketball, ranked #18 in the state by MaxPreps, has played an amazing season and punched their ticket to the state tournament in Dayton last Saturday with a hard-fought win. In addition, Chippewa Wrestling has 5 stand-out wrestlers, 3 boys and 2 girls, going to Columbus for the state tournament this weekend.
The school district and the Village of Doylestown will be giving these student-athletes a big send-off on Thursday, March 9. The celebration begins at Chippewa Jr./Sr. High School in the morning and then moves up to the Board of Education building and the center of Doylestown at 12:Noon.
Girls’ Basketball plays Castalia Margaretta Friday, March 10 at 1:PM in Dayton. Wrestling Teams begin their tournament matches at 1:PM Friday, March 10 at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus.
