An official dedication ceremony will be held this weekend in Wooster for the statue of General David Wooster.  The 7-foot bronze statue is located in front of the Wayne County Library and that’s where the ceremony will be held Saturday at Noon.  Wooster was named after the Revolutionary War General in 1808.  It is thought that veterans of the American Revolution who settled in town from Connecticut came up with the name since the general was from that state.  A number of speakers are planned Saturday for the 45 minute ceremony.
