Erica Stefanko, the Wayne County woman convicted of aggravated murder for her role in the 2012 death of a 25-year old woman from Stark County, has had her motion for a mistrial denied. A judge in Summit County denied the request at a hearing on Thursday. The 38-year old Stefanko, who was found guilty last November, remains jailed and has yet to be sentenced. Her ex-husband, who committed the actual murder, is serving life in prison.
