Sugar Creek Township sends offer to East Wayne Fire District

Sugar Creek Township trustees have given their settlement offer to the East Wayne Fire District. This comes in response to an offer from East Wayne earlier this month. The proposal calls for the Township to pay just over $121,000 to East Wayne Fire, funds owed by the township after withdrawing from the district in 2016 , and the third part of the offer states East Wayne Fire would pay Kidron Fire $35,000 for 2015 services. The township is also asking East Wayne to drop its declaratory judgment as part of the agreement.
