Wayne County Commissioners have approved a request from trustees in Sugar Creek Township, who want to ask ODOT to reduce the speed limit on a portion of Jericho Road. The township’s trustees are hoping to lower the speed limit on Jericho, between Emerson and Zuercher roads. According to trustees, the need for the reduced speed limit became more apparent after two accidents occurred on that stretch of roadway during the past year.
