According to the Wooster Post of the Highway Patrol, the pursuit began around 8:30 a.m. Friday when troopers attempted to stop a car on U.S 30 Westbound for a speed violation and the driver took off. The pursuit finally ended in Ashland County after the vehicle struck another car at the intersection of U.S. 250 and County Road 1302. The driver was identified as 26 year-old Roger Rader of Cuyahoga Falls, and he was taken to the Wayne County Jail on a felony charge of fleeing and eluding, but could also face other charges after a stolen handgun and drugs were recovered from the vehicle.
