Teen fatally thrown from truck bed

A teenager was killed over the weekend after being thrown from the bed of a moving pickup truck.  It happened Saturday night, at around 11pm, on State Route 226, in Wayne County’s Clinton Township.  According to the Highway Patrol, the 17-year was thrown from the bed of the truck as the driver went around a curve near McFadden Road.  The teen, whose identity has yet to be released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
