Threat to Orrville Middle School found to be not credible

A threat made towards Orrville Middle School on Friday turned out to not be credible. Officials with the school were made aware of the threat to the middle school Friday morning, after a student had shared a message on a messenger app that caused concern. After speaking with the student about the message it was determined that the threat and message were not credible. The school is handling the discipline of the student, but Orrville Police are sending all the information to the Wayne County Prosecutors office.
