Criminal charges are expected to be filed after three dogs were found dead and 25 others were rescued this week from a home in Ashland County’s Sullivan Township. Deputies went to the home on Monday after the county’s humane society received an anonymous call about the home’s horrendous living conditions, which included inside temperatures above 90 degrees. The surviving canines were taken to the Ashland County-West Holmes Career Center to be cared for.
