Three people hospitalized following two-car crash near Rittman

A two-vehicle accident on Thursday, south of Rittman, sent three people to the hospital. The accident took place at around 12:30pm, at the intersection of State Route 604 and Benner Road.  The Highway Patrol says a Chevy Cobalt that was westbound on 604 failed to stop at the intersection’s stop sign and was struck by an SUV. All three people in the cobalt were taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries, while the driver of the SUV was treated at the scene for some minor bumps and bruises.
