The city of Wooster has hired a contractor to pave portions of Old Mansfield Road, W. Bowman Street and Grant Street.  Work is getting underway today, and with the exception of Old Mansfield Road being closed on Wednesday and Thursday for the removal of a railroad crossing, all of the streets will remain open to traffic, with only periodic lane restrictions.  Regardless, motorists should expect some delays.  In other Wooster traffic news, work begins today on a waterline replacement project that will close a portion of McKinley Street for the next two months.  McKinley will be closed to thru traffic between Bowman and University streets, with the work starting at the Bowman intersection and then progressing northward from there.
