Waynedale continued its run thru the 2019 golf season capturing the Division 3 Boys Sectional Tuesday at Forest Hills GC. The Bears shot 317 to outdistance the field and qualify for next week’s district’s. Waynedale was led by Dyland Leford’s 72. Firelands finished second and Orrville was third, with each also moving into the district next week.
Hiland advanced to next week’s district’s with a win Wednesday shooting 296 as a team. Bruce Yoder and Brook Hummel each shot 72 to win medalist honors. Tusky Valley was second and Tusky Central Catholic was third, with both advancing next week.
