The Cleveland Indians’ playoff push was dealt a blow when the team had to place slugging third baseman José Ramírez on the injured list with a fractured hamate bone in his right hand. Ramirez was removed from Saturday’s game in the first inning after swinging at a pitch. There is no immediate timetable for the return of Ramirez, who is hitting .254 with 20 home runs, 75 RBIs and a .788 OPS this year.
