The Triway Local School Board has approved a new three-year contract with the district’s Education Association, The deal, which starts July 1st, calls for a 2% salary increase for each of the three years of the contract. Triway also is planning a renewal levy to be on the ballot for voters this fall. The 5.5-mill levy for the purpose of current operating expenses brings in about $1.7 million a year. The district is stressing that this will be a renewal levy, with no new money being requested.
