A truck driver accused of causing a crash that killed a Town & Country firefighter back in April plead not guilty at a recent court hearing.
The 41-year old from Florida is charged with vehicular manslaughter, which is a second degree misdemeanor, in the death of Lt. Philip Wigal. If convicted, the man could face up to 90 days in jail, a $750 fine and a driver’s license suspension of three months to two years.
The trial of the truck driver is now set for April 17, however another court hearing is set for March 2.
