More than 40,000 residents across northeast Ohio are without power this morning, following last night’s severe weather. Most of the outages being reported are in Medina and Summit Counties, although Wayne County does have some outages of its own, mainly in the northeastern part of the county. First Energy says, that as of 8am this morning, about 1,700 of its customers in the areas of Creston, Rittman and Doylestown were still without electricity. No official word yet on when power is expected to be restored.
