Two killed in Wayne County car crash

A one-vehicle accident over the weekend, just west of Wooster, claimed the lives of two people.  According to the Highway Patrol, the crash occurred Saturday morning, at around 1:30am, on Mechanicsburg Road.  Killed in the crash were the driver, 38-year old Aaron Torrence, and his passenger, 39-year-old Tiffany Curtiss, both of Wooster.  The patrol believes Torrence went left of center and then overcorrected, causing his vehicle to go off the west side of the road, where it struck a guardrail and overturned.  Saturday’s accident was Wayne County’s third fatal crash of the year.
