Two manufacturers in Wayne County have informed the state that they are laying off around 100 employees during the coronavirus shutdown. Rayco Manufacturing in Wooster and Bekaert Corp. in Orrville reported the layoffs to the Worker Adjustment Retraining Notification system. Rayco furloughed 60 employees, while Bakaert laid off around 40 employees back on March 27th. Anyone that was affected by the layoffs should contact OhioMeansJobs Wayne County at 330-264-5060.
