New roundabouts are being planned for the city of Wooster and the Smithville-area.  The city is planning to install one at the intersection of Oak Hill and Oldman roads, near Wooster High School, while the county will put in a roundabout at the intersection of Smithville-Western and Honeytown roads.  The county’s roundabout, which has a price tag of $1.9 million, will be the third one installed on Smithville-Western Road in the last five years.  The city, meanwhile, says its roundabout will cost $1.5 million.  Work on each is still a ways off, with both projects still in the engineering phase.
