A two vehicle accident cause hazardous material to be spilled on Route 30 which caused the road to be shut down for around 8 hours Wednesday. The accident occurred around 8 a.m. when a box truck was rear ended by a tractor trailer, causing the box truck to spill the pool chemicals it was hauling. The drivers of both vehicles were taken to Wooster Community Hospital where they were treated and released. The eastbound lanes of 30 reopened around 4:30 p.m.
