The United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties is now accepting applications from organizations from around Wayne and Holmes Counties that help serve the hungry and homeless in the counties. The United Way is the local fiscal agent for nearly $44,000 worth of funds that are being granted to the area through FEMA. Applicants must be a private voluntary non-profit or unit of government that can receive funds electronically and practice nondiscrimination and capable of delivering emergency food and/or shelter programs in Wayne and Holmes Counties.
