The Village of Creston has been awarded a $400,000 grant from the state to make drainage and waterline improvements along Factory Street. The project will include replacing nearly 1,500 feet of 12-inch waterline, 175 feet of 8-inch waterline and four main valves. 10 service taps will also be installed to reconnect existing customers to the new line. Also covered in the project will tree lawn, pavement and sidewalk restoration work.
