The village of Lodi is adding a new member to its police department. Dak, a year and a half old German Shepard, will join the department early next month as part of its new K-9 Unit. Dak will spend a week bonding with his partner before the two begin a five-week training course. The pair will begin patrolling the village toward the end of April.
