As people continue to deal with the fallout out from the COVID-19 outbreak, the Village of Smithville has announced they will temporarily suspend utility shutoffs. There will also be no penalties for late payments or past due accounts dealing with water and sewer in the village. Anyone needing more information should contact the village at 330-669-2311.
